The greatest charity concert ever seen!
Welcome to a site dedicated to Rock for Kenya-an annual event that raises funds for the "Live with Hope" Appeal in Kenya! In preparation for Messers Craig McGinnis and Kevin McLaughlin heading off to Motobo, Kenya to help in the Live with Hope centre in 2004, Rock for Kenya was born.
The idea then was simple-RFK 2004 was introduced to raise funds for the appeal. Although the concert took place in a church hall, situated in deepest, darkest Bishopbriggs-the event raised around £2000!
RFK 2004 was a roaring success! It was clear to everybody that a similar event would have to happen more often.
And it did. On Saturday, 27th August 2005-Rock for Kenya 2 took place in the Strathclyde Union, Glasgow. If you missed it, you must be really miffed. Maybe next year, eh?
